Domaine Paul Autard Côtes du Rhône, 2019

This wine has long held a spot on The Genny shelves. Autard’s Côtes-du-Rhône is a smoky, complex wine, loaded with warm raspberry fruit, showing many of the best attributes of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This Grenache-heavy blend with Syrah, and it’s present but not overpowering tannins, is a perfect match for the heartier dishes on your summer table: smoky grilled steaks or game, as well as barbecue and stews.
