Garagisti di Sorgono Parisi
This incredibly unique bottle is reminiscent of a Spanish Rioja, but is produced in the mountainous central region of Sardinia, Italy. Its deep color comes from its Muristeddu grapes, a very rare grape related to Sardinia’s native Bovale Sardo varietal. Muristeddu offers rich, dark fruit flavors (blackberry, cherry) with mouth-watering tannins and a spiced finish. It’s not only deep in color but in flavor, too. Coffee & leather underpin it all. One of the most interesting bottles we’ve tried in a while. This would pair incredibly well with lamb, if that’s on your menu this weekend.
