La Petite Mort VMR Qvevri

La Petite Mort VMR Qvevri was a wonderful surprise from Australia. Poor Australia has gotten a bad name from large scale wine production the like of Yellow Tail, but this blend of Viogner, Rousanne, and Marsanne was pretty funky and fun. This wine is made using an old Georgian technique “Qveri” which involves burying clay pots in the ground for fermentation and maturation and maximum skin contact. The end result is Yum!!
