Maz Caz Costières de Nîmes Blanc, 2021

Coming from France’s Rhône Valley, this blend of Roussanne and Grenache Blanc offer up peach, citrus, and melon flavors but stays quite dry. Alongside some minerality, the flavors last on the palette. Perfect for seafood!

From the Winery:
Beautifully lifted fruit, harvested from a rocky soil profile, leaving the usually fatter Rhone varietals of Grenache Blanc and Roussanne lean and bright. The choice to leave this wine un-oaked ensures that the drinker gets freshness, citrus and a hint of brine thanks to the Mediterranean influence here in Nimes. There is a bit of spice akin to white pepper and lemon zest. Drinks great with oysters as the label suggests, but could be paired with everything from sushi and spicy Thai to grilled white meats.
