Salvatore Marino Terre Siciliane Turi Bianco

Catarratto is the most widely cultivated varietal of Sicily. Despite it being centralized to the island, its volume of production there makes it one of the commonly planted grapes in Italy. Catarratto has a history of being grown for blends, but there’s been a resurgence, parallel to the growth in ‘craft’ winemaking, in creating unique & outstanding single-varietal wines with it. This bottle is a perfect example of the trend, with lemon, salt, and grapefruit then giving way to stone fruit flavors. Great with seafood and fresh cheeses, but also a good match for your Thanksgiving meal.
