Clos Siguier Cahors, 2018
Deep purple in the glass with flavors of cherry and blackberry. A fruit-driven palate is backed by notes of black tea. This is a lighter-styled, readily accessible Cahors, which typically blends Malbec with smaller amounts of Tannat (as in this bottle) and/or Merlot. You may find this wine more similar to Argentinian-produced Malbecs than its French compatriots. Our dream pairing would be a grilled flank steak with chimichurri.
