Domaine du Salvard Cheverny Blanc 2020
Brothers Emmanuel and Thierry Delaille currently manage their family’s winery which dates back to 1898 and is set in France’s Loire Valley. While the region’s best known whites usually come from Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, these bottles are often pricey when compared to equally delicious ones from Cheverny. This blend of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Chardonnay has a fair share of pear, peach, and/or apple flavor. Refreshing acidity, but not overwhelming. Noticeably finishes dry. Try this with your cheeseboard or a white fish entree.
