Umathum Burgenland Rotburger Classic

Austrian Rotburger (yes, it’s different than Rotberger) is truly a favorite here at The Genny, so this was a very exciting find. It’s a stunning combination of cherry fruit up front alongside some earthy minerality and a bit of a spicy, woodsy finish. That may all sound made up but you’ve got to try it! Rotburger has a surprising reputation (for a red) to pair well with seafood, so we may recommend this  with a nice filet of salmon!
